Exploring Quantum Cryptography and the Quantum Internet
This session focuses on Albert Einstein’s irritation with “spooky action at a distance;” that is, quantum computers sharing information faster than light. We’ll review classical computer networking ideas and explore how a very different quantum network would operate in the future. We’ll seek to understand the supporting theories and the challenges of creating a quantum internet, as well as delving in the problems and benefits of this futuristic but inevitable technology.
